View Full Version : stop 3d texture animations
if I put a 3d textur onto an object it always animates itself. for example if my material contains a crater texture, in the animation the crater "moves" around......how can I stop this?

parent the 3d texture to your moving object..(if its not visible in you workspace you might have to change some display options around) the problem is that your object is moving but your 3d texture is staying in the same place... so the texture looks animated.
You can also create a texture reference object, if you look in the texture menu.
I don't know if it's more expansive or not, but this tecnique is easier if you have a lot of texture on the same object.
