If it was intentional, the symbol is not only the Star of David, but it also has pagan roots representing the chalice and phallus and the balance of man and woman and life itself. She could be a witch of some sort of fertility cult... maybe worshiping Osiris or something...

...or it could be a completely unintentional faux pas. :shrug:
