View Full Version : Extruding Face - Extra Face why?

Hello all,

I just want to know how to have the original face removed after I extrude it? If I extrude a face, the original is still there and when modeling, it just adds to the model.

Is there a switch somewhere to remove the original face after extrusion?

All help appreciated...

Hello there,

I am definitely doing something wrong because now the faces I extrude do not leave faces.

Is it maybe because I extrud more than one face at a time?

And also, when I extrude more than one face, they extrude seperately. The tutorial says there is an option to keep them together but could not find it? Can you tell me where as well?

Poygons->Tool Options->Keep faces together
