View Full Version : Onion Skinning problem

I'm running into a problem with the onion skinning capability while animating. Basically, when I turn onion skinning on, the current drawing frame is always slightly transparent...so I can't tell what my drawing really looks like (for instance, the pen color turns out gray instead of black). When I turn onion skinning off, it shows up fine.

I've tried seemly every combination of opacity on the current layer and preceding layers but I end up either not seeing anything below the current frame, not being able to see the current frame at all, or being able to see all of them but with the problem mentioned above.

Basically, I just want to know if there is a way for the color of my current drawing to show up correctly while also viewing previous frames using the onion skin effect. I'm just drawing with a black pen on a white background...do I need to specify the background as transparent?

Thanks in advance for any help!
