@ Goro : Nice painting! I like the way you depicted the glass! That 'pattern' in it looks really cool!

@ El-Rodente : Made me laugh :) Really nice thinked about the subject (at least more original than me ;) ). BTW; such a 'Wacom' (or a tablet) is not expensive anymore; I got one of € 30! :) And it works good enough for me!

Ok, here's my stuff; I got some spare time and I wanted to do something fast & fun:

Artrage // about 30 minutes // Medion (like Wacom :) )-tablet

http://members.lycos.nl/oldentower/bestanden/Sketch144_Last%20vampire%20on%20Earth.jpg

I wanted to make more a coloured sketch, than a complete painting, as I normally do. Hope you'll like it;

Gijs

please dutchman, tell me where you got the tablet from pleeaseI got it from the 'Aldi'. A very cheap shop, where only the products count (they have 'ugly' and boring shops >> the money that doesn't come to the shop, has not to be paid :rolleyes: ). I think the Aldi is international in Europe, so you should know it :) . Here it was sold some weeks ago.

A pic of the one I have (my one is a bit different; it has the same 'outside' as that Trust one):

http://images.vnunet.com/v6_image/v6_products/prod_h/small/sm_medion03.gif (http://images.vnunet.com/v6_image/v6_products/prod_h/big/bg_medion03.jpg)

In fact it's éxactly the same as the one of Trust:

http://www.bestekeus.nl/shop/images/1200%20WIRELESS%20TABLET.jpg

Only the compagny name differs :eek: :bounce: , and the price (Medion > € 30,- ; Trust > € 90,- :eek: :rolleyes: ). You should check out your regio-Aldi site... :)

I wish you good luck at finding one,

Gijs

hey goro, great as always, I love how you use brushes, just one thing, if it is a mirror (it looks like one), I was told that vampires didn't reflect on mirrors :D

Good point vampiears do not reflect on mirror but May be its a glass:rolleyes:
cause if its a mirror you are either looking through the vampire eye or you should appear on the mirror(the one who take the picture)!

Thought I'd join in.. First time I've gotten enough time from school to do anything.. And of course I go do something crappy, but alas, it's something!
About an hour in Painter Classic. No idea what I wanted to do so it's more random doodling than anything.

I hope you like lots of red and purple :P
Sorry for the attacment switching webserver at the moment.

90 minutes, Photoshop CS, sunset referenced.

@goro: Looking good! Did the patterns in the grayish area come from a custom brush?
@el-rodente: Hehe good joke :D
@Mistiannyi: Just join in often you'll see that you improve quickly. But don't forget to have fun drawing ;)

I had the same one for some time but compared to a Wacom Intuos it's crap... nofi, but my advice is to buy a Wacom, it's more expensive but it's worth every single cent.

I think you (as the viewer) are supposed to be inside a house watching him approach from outside. The vase is inside with you and thus a reflection, most everything else is outside....at least I think so. Goro?

jawine (http://www.cgtalk.com/member.php?u=46530): I'll try to join in more often, this is exactly what I need :) Though I have school all day, so it might prove hard.. As for having fun, I've always loved to draw, now I just want to do it better because it's always fun! (unless when it frustrates the hell outta me, but that's besidde the point ;) )

AsurA: Love the feel of that one! Did you use the leaf brush in PS or is it some similar brush?

pm_ceglowski: I really like that style, it has a moody feel to it! vbmenu_register("postmenu_1680252", true);

Thanx for compliments guys.. I couldn't have done anything close unless I had influence and tips from so many people on cgtalk and elsewhere. Every Painting now I feel a little more confident in what I'm trying to do. I hope it keeps up :)
