Ah yes, I finally got around to enter this uniqiue challenge. I am entering this to get back on my feet in 3d, to learn more, and see what I am capable of with the fair ammout of time we are posed with.
As for what I have done, is the story i am trying to follow...

-------
A planet that was rich in life leaning on the edge of it's own destruction by the depletion of the world's natrual resourses. With the space age comming into full bloom with this worldwide disaster comes to placement of low orbiting space colonies. Spread around the world floating in space, these space colonies "feed" off the planet to continue and drain the life of the planet while living in space. These space colonies are revoutionary to the development and ingenuity to further colonize further out beyond their world into space.
--------

this might be a bit hard to visualize, as i am not a great sketch artist, soon enough pre-vis concepts, and sketches will arrive soon.

good luck to all ~_~

Well i finally was messing around w/ some concepts on stations to use, and this one seems pretty viable to use. One of many sketches to come.

I like the unique station you have going there.

You should google Angus McKie in addtion to the visual research that CGNetworks posted underneath their main banner for the challenge. I think you would benefit from seeing some of his work.
