Well this is my idea. A civilization is changing the planet. The story is that this very advanced civilaztion has made the nucleus of his planet because the natural nucleus was desappearing and so the civilization intented to make a new one to continue his life on the planet. I don't how many years has passed after the "Big change", but a group of physicists discovered that a huge black hole is approaching the planet and soon it will destroy it. So they have to change the planet. And so the "Big Move" begin.

WThis is the line concept..but not yet the line art...Because the civilization was made so many things on that planet and also it would be very stupid to make averything all over again, they decided to take the half planet (but not th whole :) )..here is one of the big transporting ships (it will be smaller than that and there will be more ships like this one). He moves the half planet thanks to this G - Laser :) ... also there will be a supporting ships(fighters) for 'just-in-case'....

you'll have to fix the composition of that second environment sketch, I reckon it would be better to show almost all of that ship instead of cutting it half

the mechanics that your concept requires will be difficult to represent, considering the scale. but if done well, will impress! i wish you the best of luck.

well here is the new look..not ready yet but this is the idea....of course there will be some changes

after a small pause i started to make the fighters' perspective sketch :) and when i made all the elements i need i will start with the real thing:)

i consider this image for the art line milestone, because now i'm putting everything i will need and after that i will star with the colors :)

starting with the coloring....first i will make the main light sources..in this case..the star(sun)...
this image is far from the final look, just sketching the color :)
