I've just got into Digital Fusion and find it pretty annoying that each tool doesn't automatically just have an opacity slider.
If you create a mask for something you can animate the Levels, which is pretty much another word for opacity in DF i think. So if you wanted an entire background to fade in/out or whatever, you would create a mask that was the entire size of the comp.
Hello Retrovision,
Fusion is a very deep program, but rarely is there a situation that can’t be approached in multiple ways. In response to your opacity issue for examples, every tool has a “controls tab” which is represented by a radiation symbol as outlined in the manual. There is a blend slider in the controls tab that can be used to change the opacity of any effect.
Hope this helps,
Adam
