Good job i love the stuff surrounding the character, this is where i have to improve in my own work, my only comment is that the turtle is a little too dark, it's violating some visual rule but i don't know what it is, all i'm thinking is put some haze over there between character and turtle. 4 stars :thumbsup: oh yeah right arm is too long, still 4 stars.

I like this! my only suggestion would be perhaps try adding a slight curve to her back, or make her lean forward or back - she looks quite stiff, like there's a pole down her back :) otherwise interesting style and subject!

onyl crit I would have it that alot of lotus flowers and lilly pads only grow in the water. and with the indication of water falls in the background if she was standing in the water or on top of it that would finish up this image for me. good work though

the character i draw is an epic worrier from a great wu-xia noveliest JingYong,her name is Dugu Qiubai,her name is from her love-story that is made to a movie by a hongkong director some years ago,the man she loved can not decide to stay with her or her another diplex-temperament "herself"(my poor english may not explain the story...).so she feel great jealous of another her,she leave the man and excile herself in derest.she spent all her life to struggle with her shade in the water,the power of a jealous woman is so greatful that make her have the power to defeat anyone in the world but herself,so the meaning of the name is "seek for being defeated".
and then the pic is borning from my imagination....

Very well done painting, however, I noticed that her right arm looks a little out of proportion. Judging from the left arm, the right is too long. I can't see anything else that stands out of place other than the arm. Beside that, an excellent piece of art.

I only have a comment regarding the pose. Her right hand is stretched out, but her right shoulder is too high which makes the whole hand a bit stiff. I think lowering the right shoulder would be more natural... This way you could also shorten her right hand, which is really longer than the left one..
