Complete crud. Crud crud and crud. First one was inspired by the old Star Wars movie posters. Second by the freaky circular platforms in Jak and Daxter Precursor legacy (these freaky circle things are the tops of floating beuilings. The glowy things the people. suck) and the third is someone crawling their way out of a pile of bodies.

Better ones later, I promise. *whimper*

Too little concrete, I guess. Do you have more detailed sketch? ;)

I cant really tell whats happening in any of them, but at least you have some ideas to build upon. Maybe you could more details or descriptions on them so we can figure out whats going on. Cant really comment on anything right now, sorry.

New concept. One in a medium I'm good at (all of my major pencil drawings look at confused as this, I promised). Several four different pairs of what will be giant robots (mechas) battle in a gladiator style, watched by some of what are either going to be even bigger mechas, or people who need to be scaled down. I like this one best of the three I'm posting today. Crits and Comments are my lifeblood.

More concepts. If I do this one the clouds will get moves down (right now they're supposed to be swirling and stuff from the floaters that help keep the station up. Those are city buildings under the clouds

Movie poster style cocept this time. And asexual robot ruler, military solder, and standard firey femme fatale. And a sun and two opposing ships. which of the three pencil ones do you like? (Ignore the color concepts)

Computer grayscale of one of the main robots in the Arena concept. I've got a full body pencil sketch, but the scanner decided to die. So, arm and torso, rockets, leg, and back designs.

Hi Robin,

thanks for your imput - much appreciated!
I think you're doing a good job on those pencil drawings. however, they seem a little too rough to me to give you a helpful comment. the last one looks interesting though.

cheers,
igino

So why are all my concept peices in grascale (pencils?) Because I don't have the time to color them, my main medium is pencil and I'm learning computer coloring. Also, because I have no clue as to the color sheme for the entire peice yet. But here's the original sketch of the Death model of giant robot. Me, I kinda like it.

I like your last sketch and can't wait to see what the opponents will look like if you're sticking with the gladatorial idea. it might just be the way the levels were edited, but i kind of wish to see more precise detail in the "hands", "feet" and "face/head" like is it looking down? I guess i'm saying that a legible drawing is often more valuable than a good looking one (now i'm just talking to myself)
good job and good luck!
