I've an annoying problem with Fur: evry frame Maya renders a little bit different fur so, when I play my animation, fur flicks a lot !
I really don't understend what I can do to fix this problem: please help me !

I really don't know if this would help, but usually, when generating thin strands or other contrasting sharp edges, you end up with a flickering because of the resolution. The renderer has a hard time deciding where the pixel should go if its just a single pixel wide (or less). One solution is to add a noise or a blur filter in composit (i.e After Effects or similar). You can blur it vertically which still makes it pretty sharp.

A real camera has a natural depth of field which usually blures things slightly, but a 3D render is very sharp, when not using motion blur or depth of field. The antialiasing process is also similar to blurring.

Thanks for your response, Graf.
But I suppose this insn't my problem.
I'll try to explain better with images support !

Now, the problem: in yellow squares you can see two frame with fur rendered slighty differnt. When I play my walk cycle furs on legs are very noisy, but itisn't a matter of blurring.
It's my first time with Maya Fur, so, simply, I suppose I'm not able to set Fur !

E-bye !

PS: I tried to blur frames with After Effects, but seems I'm not good enought. Simply I don't understend how import in AE Maya Iff images or how cange Fur Images output file...
