Before I saw the name I thought for sure it was an amped-up version of Red Riding Hood. Hmm, I think I just came up with a great idea.

First of all, your work encourages me to start working with a grafik tablet.
I like your techniques and the fact that you don`t notice that the piece was made with ps at first glance.
I like the way you make this girl move so dynamically.
I don´t like the sword and the jackboots.
The sword looks very boring and simple, I also can`t figure out the End of the foot - where does the leg end and the foot start. And this cuttling of the leather at the top of the jackboot takes away the cool overall effect of your sharp and bowing lines.
The cape reminds me of the comic spawn.

Concluding, really impressive, I hope to craft something like this someday...;)

I really like her alot! Beautiful features on the girl...My only critique has to do with the sword...Great detail on everything else, but the sword is very plain...Not only that but the perspective seems iffy to me...Its curved like you were looking at the side of the blade somehow, yet the tip doesnt reflect that accurately...I would just rework a more detailed sword in there and the image would indeed be perfect...

I think it's a very beautiful picture. The only real complaint I have concerning it is the width of the katana (I am assuming she is wielding a katana). To me, it looks a bit thin, and reminds me more of a foil than a katana. Otherwise, very stunning work.

I like it alot, I like the colour scheme and the way it works with the background. The background is abstract and yet she seems well placed within it. I also think the way all the different surfaces have different kinds of highlighting is great, the sheen on the leather is especially good.

One thing that I did notice is that her sword is curved sideways, but the handle isn't. Im not sure if thats the way those swords might swing or not, but its not really an issue with the look of the image.

I love the spattered ink look of the background, did you do this and then scan it or did you paint it straight into photoshop?

you've mastered the textures really well eg highlights on the boots, the softness of the cloak, the brightness of the sword. I like the contrast between the preciseness of the figure and the background/environment :)

Great Piece of work.
A small observation if I may. There is something a little strange about the face and I think it is the eye. If it was moved down a bit and a touch closer to the nose I think it would solve this slight drawing problem.

The colours employed here are beautiful. On a slightly critical note, and this has nothing to do with how you've glossed this image, as I think the control is exceptional... The young ladies feet seem a bit lost on my screen. I don't know if its a problem with my dieplay, but I can't tell how well they've been executed.

Its nice to see work like this being produced as there's a wealth of commercial use for this stuff right now.
