I made this drawing after a discussion with a friend about tablets and cg drawing. She said tablets are only useful to color scanned pencil lines, cuz itīs very difficult to draw directly with the tablet (you canīt see the drawing in its real size, you canīt turn, rotate... blah blah) So iīve painted this in photoshop 6 from zero, no previous sketches. C&C needed, please (before i show her the drawing he he).

He that's really a cool one Pancreas :buttrock:
C&C? Okay, make the shadows a bit darker, to bring some more contrast in it.
A good thing could be to make a bit of a darker (very sketchy) background behind her right (left 4 the viewer) shoulder and to brighten the light-from-the-back on her right edge that is allready there. (Did that all make sense?).

Of course you can draw directly with a wacom. I very rarely draw over pencil lines anymore.
Virtually all of the non 3D work (concept drawings and superhero paintings) at this link is drawn directly in photoshop.

Yeah, I agree with Puddlefish. Scanning is a waste of time. Every single thing I ever posted here has only been zeroes & ones. (Exccept 4 the 2 post-it memo's ;) )

Really cool! The only crit I have is that her skirt looks kind of bunched up at the bottom...that's really minor though. Good job:buttrock:
