anyone here use Prman 5.0 for Maya?? i got a newbie question regarding PRMan in maya.
Rendering in PRman is pretty basic but im running into a small problem. when i render to "It" i have no problem. when i render to a file, "tiff" and RGBA mode as a tiff sequence i encounter a problem. after all the RIB files are generated and than sent over to alfred -- it renders everything fine and doesnt give me any error. but when i go to view it in alfred "sho.../image###.tif" -- it gives me an error. i go to "rmanpix" folder and look at the actual file and i cant preview the tif either. and i even tried importing it into my compositing software but it gave me a "unable to parse" error.
anyone have any idea what steps im missing here??
