I have a problem that I cant seem to figure out.

I'm trying to put a muscle bone inbetween a joint but when I bend the joint using
IK the muscle bone spins on it z axis like a top. Here is a pic of the setup.

this looks like the same problem i posted about in this thread (http://www.cgtalk.com/showthread.php?t=174160&highlight=muscle+bone) on page 2.

i could not figure out how to get your expresso muscle bone to stablize but fabian's works like a charm. i never did see a response from you after my last question in the thread i linked but your example is showing the muscle bone being used the same way i was using them so i guess that answers my question.

srt I know what you mean now. I also just added an upvector and that fixed it right up. I dont know what is making that happen because it only happens with this one bone and not the other muscle bones I have in the same model. very strange.
