Hi everybody. i'm here ultimately to learn and get better from the experience. so far its' very fun to see what others have produced. :]

these are shots of my blind hero and his seeing eye companion.

Damn, I haven't seen a machete that big since I used to drive by the sugar cane fields in Puerto Rico :)

Your work is very stylized and very well done. I especially like the lighting on the character's suit.

That's a pretty cool design. I think if he's blind, it's probably visually more interesting to cover up his eyes somehow.

For the challenge, it's important to depict a sense of scale--that epic proportion. So, maybe put himi and his dog in an awe-inspiring enviroment?

thanks a lot for the feedback, guys. i will work on a nice contraption to fit over the boy's eyes.
i sketched a few thumbnails here. the current scene will have to be doubled in width for the epicness to come through. i'll post that when i get home from work tonight.
