CGTalk - Biped and slider manipulator ?

Hi

I'm using CS 3 right now.
Is it possible to use biped with "slider manipulator" since i want to animate hand/foot easier. I've tried it before but i can't connect the slider with biped on "Parameter Wire Dialog"
