I was playing around with lift face. It seems to leave an artifact on the edges used for lifting. The edges appear selected (green) but are not. Does anyone know how to get rid of this, or is it a display bug?

That being said. Wings is SO AWESOME! I work at a Maya studio. I also use Mirai, (it is so handy for morph targets) and lately, I've been using Wings too. The new connect and slide functions in Wings are so killer. I have no idea why modelers at my studio don't use Wings in conjunction with Maya. Maya certainly has strengths, but there is so much more power in Mirai/Wings with selection tools, magnets, tweak, transforming elements along specified vectors with magnets, etc....It blows my mind that folks who model strictly in Maya don't give Wings a try, just as a sumplimentary tool, if anything. It takes just a few seconds to import/export obj. files.

I suppose it also blows my mind that Alias hasn't attempted to incorportate more Mirai/Wings features into their program.

OK, enough rambling. Long live slideable, magnetable, tweakable edgeloops!

Ok, duh, Those edges became hard, so they are hi lighted. An auto smooth fixes it!
I should go to bed...

I also think the (relatively) new Intersect plugin is pretty good as well - certainly for non-organic type stuff.
Ignore my waffle if already tried - otherwise some info below, with d/l links etc.

Not as if they've got much to lose, is it? :) ....... (but it's their loss, imo )
