Grand Space Opera 3D Entry: Alexandre Lerouge

Hello people ! I'm Alexandre Lerouge, 16, from Hyeres, in the south of France. My english is far to be perfect, so excuse me, i'll try to do my best.

So i'm attempting to do a great entry in the Grand Space Opera contest. I'm using the new ( and excellent ! ) Cinema 4d R9.
My guidelines for my entry are : A war, between 2 space civilisation Archimeda and Andromeda Confederation. Action is on the Archimeda planet, and it will show a moment in the last hours of his civilization.

Here is my first concept sketch of the turret tha will be on the foreground.

So, this is one of the 3d turret's shot. The figure is just here for proportions, it will be replaced with a real human.

wow that was quick, very nice industrial design on the turret, looks nice and light weight for speedy manuevering but no doubt made of some indestructible metal.

Now, i can post without the moderator's right, so i will present myself.

I'm Alexandre Lerouge, 16, from Hyeres, in the south of the France. My english is far to be perfect, and i'll try to do my best !

For this contest, i'm using Cinema 4d R8.5. My guideline is a war, here is the story in brief :

The war between two clans, Archimeda and the Andromeda Confederation. Action take place on the Andromeda palnet, it will be a moment in the last hours of this civilisation, and the biggest part of the picture, will be a man, on this turret, giving all he have, to save his clan.

PS : Thanks for your comments, it was fast, because concept was made yesterday, in classroom ans quickly redone in PS. And the model has been made yesterday, and this morning.
