This is the first sketch I've done for this project. I think that it creates the grand scale wanted from the requirements of the project. The Core Harvesters steal all of the metal inside of worlds to build their massive ships, once this happens the electro-magnetic field that protects a planet collapses the world dies. Here the resistance puts up their last hope in a final confrontation to try to destroy the harvester and save this world!
Very cool idea with the core harvester. Great imagination. I also like the composition of the image. Keep emīcoming.

This is the first render/model I've been working on, it is a turret that will be going onto one of the capital ships. It was created with NURBS in maya.

I like to start with a really rough image, and from that I get the rough shapes that will be in the environment. Then as I start modeling I will decide on details based on what I feel the overall design of the object will be. The turrets will probably be small in the image, but I still feel that the details on the ships will be very important so I decided to make each part of the ship fairly detailed overall.
