Good lord. Nice work, friend. Really nice. Awsome concept. Cool model. When can we expect the production model? LOL...I'll take 2.

Only real crits would be the ground plane. Looks a little too solid, like marble or something. Also might want to make your shadows a bit more detailed and perhaps softer. Lighting could use a bit of work...it seems a bit dark...rather flat.

Maybe add some tracks to the ground.

Overall, though, totally awsome!
Great job.

thanks I'll make 2 for you, when I get the money in the mail from you.

thanks guys.

nice car, but it looks abit pale(dunno the right word) change the POV for some more reallife scale , and well, make more of these!

cheers!

Am i the only one that realizes the boxiness of the curves? Especially round the front wheel well. Other than that, it rocks!!!

Whoa, nice car! I want one! but, like gimpgutter said, you need to put up the quality on the mesh a little, because you can really see some "boxyness" ;). Other then that, and what other people said, its very cool :D!

I see you're back on track!! Sweet buggy, I was expecting an affroad vehicle, "GrassHopper" sounds off road! lol I agree about the blockiness, mind telling me how you fix that(when you do) when importing from Rhino! =)

First of all, if ur exporting from Rhino to 3dsmax, u better have used IGES. From there, import them as nurbs in max so u can ch ange rendering tesselation settings for every separate surface.

thanks guys

yup its Iges file, I'll fix the surface aproximation settings, didn't get around to it, I always get problems when I start to messing with it,, limited understanding I guess, anyone have a great idea for this setting, was looking at the help file,, tried some stuff, but it killed my PC, lol

Yeah shadows suck to I know, Limited understanding there too.
I'll keep pushing the numbers around till they show up correctly.

Back to reading the help files, lol
and to get the handy teapots out again.

ya want to see it in green?

toying with yellow a few days back, didn't like it much but anyhow just tossing it your way.

Also got my MAX5 installed so, I've been messing with the new lighting and I'll do this up the right way soon.

Great model EighthDecay. Realy nice designed and looks like clean mesh. Rims are very interesting. I like green one the moust. Also i have one nitpick :).

From design side car is awesome but (always but ;) from technical side - how do you drive in reverse ?? There is no chance that driver can see anything from that small glass and even if he see something that would be just sky. Glass is pointing too muct to sky (IMHO) and rear of car is too down for driving in reverse. So maybe you need just one small camera in back of car so that he can see reverse on dashboard monitor ;). Also you don't have windshield whipers ;).

P.S.
make one in black and silver colors.

Ummmm yeah,, sure the glass in the back is just for looks mostly, one the front most one is for inside the car, the other two just peer into the engine bay.

Camera was my plan too, Like the Saleen s7, can't see out the back window either, them damn big motors get in the way.

I'll plant a little port hole in the rear for that.

Thanks lewis,

my next car model is gonna be a roadster concept. So I plan to have much more fun on the interior model.
