The implications of the action going on in TOOL are so well told. I particularly like the nearly identical pouts on the females' faces, and the rendering of the heart. You already know how much I like the other three pieces. The line, "Sushi" is priceless!

I´m 3D fan mainly, but sometimes good illustrations makes me confirm there is no need to learn XYZ fundaments to make a good image. Art depends on feeling achieved, nothing to do with oils, pencils, Photoshop or Maya. Now going digital allow us to experiment even more, that´s all. Ah, convincing expressions and nice images...

Thank you very much for the tutorials Hoon  , sorry i wasn't being attentive to your notes earlier there...... it won't happend sir :banghead:
Nice work, I like style and realization
haha, this is rather unexpected welcoming to such stylized illustrations. thank you all so much.
i intented to differenciate typical pop art style that are being abused nowadays, yet keep it stylized enough so these characters and their expressions can be dublicated in sequentials. so its absolutely fantastic realizing you like this approach!
here you have line art platform..
top half is whats done using pencil and paper. .5 mechanical pencil with 80lbs comicbook paper.
bottom half is whats done additionally using Painter, pencil tool. (custom made)
http://messstudio.com/hoonimages/celestial%20predicament-sketcomp.jpg
the characters you see here should suggest that they are conveying the expression of (in order)
Dilemma/ frustration
Confidence/ "do you feel lucky Punk?"
Spooked/ eery
and Determination
expressions are rather subtle in some of them but i was avoiding exaggeration you see on Norman Rockwell esque illustrations.
Thanks once again for thumbs up, your comments are cornerstone for my next piece always

Awwwesome style, reminds me of Stanely Mouse/ Rick Griffin if they were from Japan.
Thanks for the lineart and close-up detail shots. You are very talented.
Hoon, did you post a galatic DJ (female) in another art forum somewhere?
!!!
HOON, you have impressed me (again). Your last pictures are really good, I specially like the expressiveness of your characters. Very well done, your style makes you unique.

Hi all the ladies who are in mad love with digital art, this is for you!!!
Life is tough, and it never comes in black & white format.
number of options you can choose in this spectrum of life is astronomical. but you do must make decisions one after another.
Because thats what life is. continuous decision making.
a good news for you.
when you are stuck before a predicament of the lifetime,
just remember this one thing.
sometimes,
its okay to be wrong as long as it feels so right to be wrong!
-------------
and yes, this description to the piece is very wrong. very.. politically incorrect. ^^
