In this sketch, I'm trying to portray a soldier coming home to his family after the end of an intergalactic conflict. The story is that no matter how advanced the human race gets and how far civilization expands to, one thing remains unchanged....the heart.

This is the concept of the soldier and his family meeting at the loading docks

I like the idea, however I think maybe you could lift the camera angle a bit higher to make the image seem more dramatic. The kid in the second sketch seems to look like he tripped and was caught by his parents, or it may just seem like that to my tired eyes. Good luck with your entry.

thanks for the tips Ichthus, I'll definitely try to implement them. This is my first time doing this so i really appreciate the input!

Yes i definitely think you should change your camera angle but i think your camera should be positioned a bit lower, looking up towards the couple. In that sense you will be able to see a beautiful scenery from behind.
Keep up the good work.

Thanx Miker! I can see it in my head....it's definitely more dramatic....now on to the concept.
