This is a concept that has been on my heart for many years. In Revelation Chapter 20 there is an epic battle, a last stand, just before the end of the present earth. That is what is depicted here in this concept sketch.

It is a concept with many variables. As it is laid out by the Bible I can see many possible versions of this conflict. My most difficult consideration is the makeup of "The armies like the sands of the sea shore". Are they resurrected undead minions of Satan, or are they people living with Christ for a thousand years, tempted by Satan, and then turning on the giver of peace. This question is still in my mind after reading the passage many times. I'm not yet sure what the answer is and I haven't been given any firm proof that it is either one or the other.
