CGTalk - ray help please :P

ok i have a problem. how do i create smth like.. lets say for an example: i have a box... it has 3 holes inside (where you can see through) and i want to put a light behind it and i want light rays to shine through these holes. damn i cant explain. but when you look at the sun in some cloudy day then you'll see how sun rays shine through the clouds or smth

yeah, volume light made the whole scene pretty damn white....light...bright!

maybe try adjusting the settings

if you dont understand how to use volume lights press f1 and look it up in the user reference
