Don't particularly care if people respond, it is just so damn cool to see it rolling by on my screen! hee hee
I just did a test for a little 3DS max animation where I had a cardboard cutout series of hills and a cardboard cutout puppet car with going over the hills from right to left with carboard trees whizzing by in the foreground (lots of cardboard). I rendered out with motion blur in max, but I thought "let's try rendering in layers and keying it"
And it worked! Composited 3 layers together, keyed it and applied some pan blur to the foreground trees and it looks great.
I gots to learn more . . . this is too cool.
