STRAT

Hi fellers
I did this a few months back for CGArchitect, but i though i'd get round to posting it here too.
Reflection Blurring
C4D's blurring option in the reflection channel is a wonder and a joy to behold, but heck is it sloooooow to render. Max's reflection blurring, for example, is absolutely super fast. Like a hot knife through butter. I think Maxon need to look at this option for a future speedier solution maybe?
Anyway, i've created a shader for your free download use if you want it -
http://www.nikclark.com/strat/blur.zip
It's not perfect by any means, and i'd like to see if some of yous guys can improve it and tweek it, but it's pretty effective, and only using micro noise scattering for the blur effect.
renders 10 times faster than the real blur, and doesnt look that bad if you dont go too close up to it ;)
