I know it's kinda late, but oh well, im still trying. Im just working on the rooftops perspective and adding more building and fire to the right background. On the left im going to have a broken bridge and in the pit im going to have walls but have a gap for a road to the underground. I just need to figure out how to tighten it up then and add the hero carrying the girl.

Here is my first attempt for this competition, I got some really good ideas as a whole, so pretty much every picture I post, will be part of the story im aiming for. My strong point will tie in with alot of emotion eventually. Hopefully everything pans out.

i just started drawing a couple months ago, so any C/C would be nice.

I wish this looked as good as it does on paper, but oh well. With this I was aiming for a floating matropolis, I still got work to go on it, just another idea towards my entry.

Had some more time to mes with the compisition. Just working on the creation of the clouds and the lighting effect it has on the Metropolis. This is one of my first paintings ever, so I hope to get some criticism to help me on my journey to refining my style.
Thanks.

I decided to take a different turn this time. The sketches before werent really something I could dig deep into so I decided to start something new.

This is a sketch and Im still trying to develop the background. If you have any ideas please let me know. I thougt about a jet or something landing there or more city, but i'll see.

Had some more time to work on it. Still working on perspective and where everyhting is going to go. Hard to get a response or any critique since there\'s so many good artist here. Hopefuly I can achieve the level some of these artists do, but until then. Next week or so I will havea story for the work. Thanks.

Hi Dean

The latest image is a better painting than your earlier entries, but I actually find your earlier ideas a little more interesting. It might be because I don't know what the story or idea is behind your current image, but the aerial city idea seemed to have more possibilities.

Oh well, I don't want to derail you now if you are on a new direction... Post some information about the concept next time!
