CGTalk - Fill hole with subdiv (need help)

View Full Version : Fill hole with subdiv (need help)

Hi,
I work in poly proxy mode and when i try to fill this hole ( with Fill Hole), Maya show me the message :

Error: polyToSubdiv1 (Poly To Subdiv Node): The conversion to a subdivision surface failed.

I tried to fix the problem with the append polygong tool but without success too.

I don't see how could i fill this hole and what is the problem ?
If someone can help me please.

you could just extrude some edges, then use snap verts and weld
