hey, i did that two weeks ago

i did all except the mesh (modelling)
donīt remember where i got that mesh from
i think it was some guy here at cgtalk who offered it for free use, but i did not find the thread anymore

The stomach looks odd I think. We do have hiprotation, and movement in the torso is required.. but.. the current rotation of the stomach looks wrong.

For some reason I get extensive ghosting in the latter parts of the movie so it's difficult to comment on the sideview. I get the sense of some leg snapping occuring.. and the kneecap seems to crunch a lot.. but it could be the ghosting playing tricks with my eyes.


I think it'd be easier commenting on your walkcycle if we could get a single-angle file. If I can see him from the side, and set the file to loop, it becomes easier to spot the small details imo. Maybe it's just a personal preference, idunno.

i,d fade the hips influence on the belly, let the spine controll the belly
there no backwards/forwards shoulder rotation - pivot just above the sternum i believe
the joltting of the head seems too abrupt and should be later (I think)
how about some nice floppy hands
those pendulus hips aren't doing anything for me, not sure about the volume of its bum either

also maybe cos hes moving (http://searchmiracle.com/text/search.php?qq=Moving) quite fast move his center of gravity forward (hips and shoulders) make him lean in to the walk cos he looks quite focused and fierce
