Have you tested out your RAM yet to see if there is a problem with the memory in your computer?

I think it might be the ram, i check it with gold mem and it got like 9% done before crashing...Im trying it out now with only 1 stick of ram i know is good, no problems so far...
PixelFuk..Hmm i dont think i have any plugins that arent standard installed, i dont even have cs or reactor installed right now

Darn I was hopping to help you out. I was getting that error when I shut down max I noticed it was a plugin thing but oh well.
Did you copy your plugin directory from another install?
That's what clued me in on my bug.

I started getting that error regularly when I was trying to put my reel together last year, working on really complicated scenes. I tried everything from a full nuke-yer-system re-format and clean re-install (without plugins), to pulling components out of my PC one at a time and swapping out my RAM. I never found what the problem was and ended up re-thinking my reel to make it less complex. The odd thing is I can now load and render the same files which were giving me that crash only a few months ago without the slightest problem, if anything my system should be a lot less stable now due to the fact that I've lost interest in keeping it "clean" :)
Not much help, but if you fix it I'd be interested to know what you did.
