Hey all, working on this for a class assignment. Just modeling a human body, got to finish legs and attach hands today. I'd like any critiques you all could give to help improve it so far. I think the head and neck area need the most improving. The lower back and arms haven't had much work done yet so they're a little unfinished.

The neck looks a little bit thick (front to back direction) especially in relation to the facial features which appear more fine. Also his head appears a bit deep and his ears could be a little bit bigger and moved a bit toward the back of his head. Yea, take a close look at the space starting behind his ears and heading back to the back of his skull (side view). I think there is too much space; this may also help solve the neck looking too thick. Also, it looks like his trapezius muscles are flexed but he is not in a pose that would support that, it is worth looking at. Other than that it is looking good so far.

Thanks for the tips Qwatkins, all were taken into consideration. I was a little unsure about the traps before and think your take on it helped me make a more final decision. The neck is still being worked on, as well as the head (to get it to match up with the body's look better).

I modeled up the legs and more tweaks all around the body, the hands aren't attached yet but are in place. Any critiques are welcome.
