Just a quick idea dump, I am not sure which way I want to go with this, original idea is basicaly a group of desert nomads stumble upon a derelict ship, but I started going more towards a group of desert nomads have their world disturbed by new arrivals from the stars, who are falling down.. the two eggs in the back are supposed to be other ships, maybe it should show a battle going on over the planet. The vehicles are just fill ins, I havent thought about what they could look like yet.

Just a quick story to rough up the sketch.
Shmeen was having a good day, he killed a man this morning. The barbarian was trying to steal his horse, but Shmeen was a light sleeper, he didnít have to think twice before he brought the thief down. Now on the outskirts of the nearby village he was in the company of his brethren, tasting the afternoon tea, and enjoying the comfort of his newfound boots. One of the guards who was on night duty was telling everyone about the lights he saw in the sky, when the horse began to panic, everyone jumped up and ran to their mounts trying desperately to calm the animals. Then the air around them was filled with a horrible noise, it felt like the very air around them pressed in on every inch of their bodies. Some of the horses bolted, leaving their stunned handlers dazed clutching at the reigns that were no longer there. It was the guard who first pointed to the east. It came like a streak of flame, illuminating the sky as it descended towards the desert at unimaginable speed. Seconds later the earth shook. Shmeen and the others ran to the edge of the canyon and they saw it, it lay on its side like a huge animal billowing smoke that was fast rising to consume the sky. Something in Shmeen knew that this was an extraordinary moment, that his and the lives of all he knew would never be the same. He stood with his eyes fixed on the flaming mass, he did not notice as someone pointed towards the horizon where more stars were falling to the ground.
