hey tukata. nice stuff. couple of things that pop into my mind at first glance, the dude falling on the floor is pretty stiff looking in the wrist department, maybe loosen him up a little. the samurai's aarrgghh of defiance up to the sky seems arbitrary as it is. maybe hold the pose longer. also i think if you hold the pose where he has the sword ready to stab it'll give it more anticipation and therefore more impact. just what I picked up. good feel all round. choice buzz.

I agree with "freshcongaeel" about more anticipation before the stab.. i would like to see him arch his back a little more and hold that pose then quickly stab the guy to show the force of the stab. I would even bend the knees at the stab to get a little squash and stretch effect going on. the other minor thing is that when the guy walks toward the guy on the ground his head isn't looking at him.. it seems like he's look past the guy on the ground...well those are my two suggestions.. looking good

Hey guys I've made a bunch of updates that I'll post tomorrow when I get everything rendered out.

I feel that the acting could be stronger. The first "smack!" is fine, but the action really becomes uncertain in the next few moves, because we can't decide who to focus our attention on. The warrior does this little defiance move (and I say little...) while the victim is basically flopping around in the foreground. Nothing more and nothing less. Schlep then reaches for the warrior's hand as though .. what? .. he expects him to help him to his feet?! The warrior stabs him (with no apparent transfer-of-force) and the schlep finally falls dead. What took him so long?
This should be a swift, one-two punch with absolutely no question as to the force of the action, and no letting-up between one strike and the next. First move: smack schlep. Second move: swift step forward, stab schlep. End of scene. Our warrior never fails to press his advantage. He's the star of the show and he should act the part.
Final suggestion: move the camera. Schlep should not obscure our view of Hero. And move in close. There's too much screen-space not doing anything.

does this warrior guy really want to kill him? cause it doesnt look like it. it looks like....hey yer still moving i guess i just drop a sword in yer stomach. i dont feel any emotion at all. but the animation does look smooth.....i guess get some more dynamic poses for the KILLING.

the animation seems a bit straight forward.
add more anticipation to the characters, eg when the dark warrior kill the guy, will make your animation much interesting ! :)
