:thumbsup:Yeah, I'm thinking the same. Just in it for the fun and the learning experience.
So, with that said, bring forth the concept sketches! :scream:
Good luck

The first thing I thought about was a sad killermachine, on a cold and uninhabitable world. This pic shows how the robot morning it lost teammate and pilot on a conquest-campange. Will use allot of blue in this pic to give it that frosty felling. Im doing another pic now, and its more like widescreen looking.

I will use a robot like this in my picture, below. This modell will be an fast assult-droid made for
cloescombat in urban environments. They are drops from assult-crafts and work seperatly
or in groups. Is about 3,5 meters in hights and weights about 1100 kg. They got an advance
AI, they can even show emotions.

Well ,more sketches will come up soon...

Sweet! Will there be a giant futuristic city in the background? I like the idea with robots displaying emotions. Whatever else changes, keep that! I think it goes well with the grand Space Opera theme.
If you're going for the frosty, why not go all the way and make it a winter landscape?
Keep it up, it's looking good.

Well the first thing i thought about when joining the competion was a killermachine that showed emotions. So I have chosen to tell a story of two inviduals, a pilot and his battlebrother/friend, a assultdroid.
The second thing was snow, never done that before so.. In the end im gonna paint when under a conquest-campange the were shoot down and the pilot dies, and the droid shows strong emotions. So im working on it now.

The droid is made for war, and in perticular urban warfare. Build for close-combat, whit massive weaponary, defence and speed.

good sketches, maybe experiment with using lighter lines as well as thick ones. a thick line all around an object can potentially flatten it out.

good luck!
