Hello,

I'm looking for a 3d program, max, maya etc that may be able to take a 3d model and turn it into a vector based image that can be exported into macromedia flash. Anybody know if this is possible and which program can do it?

Thanks!

Electric Rain makes a plugin for MAX called Swift3D (http://www.erain.com/). It does a fine job.

Maya has an included vector renderer. I haven't used it much, and I've heard about issues with it, but its there

Rhino exports vector files from 3D models in various formats (Illustrator, DXF and DWG).

I did this on a regular basis when working with the merchandising dept at my last job. They needed perspective line drawings for product literature.
