View Full Version : Move in all 3 Axes
ChristianFischer 10-17-2004, 04:17 PM hi.
while modeling i don't like to be restricted to move vertices only in xy, xz OR yz.
so is there a way to move vertices in all 3 axes simultaneously without having to mess around with the workplane?
is there maybe a way to turn off the workplane temporarily?
cheers chris

Visibility Options > turn off Show Work Plane
there is a hot key you may see on the key editor
:)
press 0 key on your keyboard, (zero not ohh) will temporarily disable the handle and not let the handle confuse you, I think would be able to move vertices in all 3 axes simultaneously in perspective view.
Cheers.

if this is really not possible an option for turning off the workplane should be included in the next update!!!

You can set the action centre to 'Screen', that should be what you're looking for I think.

hi mark.
true, it is ... the strange thing is that i tried that mode along with all the other modes - and it didn't work!?
i just tried again and it now works exactly the way i want
so thank you! :)
