hi,

I am working in Architecture Visualization.

ok now I want to know about various workflows that can

be taken in architecure renderings or in rendering where

architercture can be emphasized.

I mean the best workflow for anyone for exterior and

interior scenes.

specially in daylight or midnoon time.

Here I start by what I do:

in 3Ds max:

Exteriors:

1. six omni lights and one sunlight with raytrace shadows,

omni lights with no shadow, and 4 of them on 4 directions

and 2 at up and down.

so omni lights works as fill lights.

I use this method when deadline is tight and good enough result

wanted fast.

2. a skylight, a IES sun with area shadows using Light Tacer.

gives great result but with considrable amount of time.

Interiors:

1. Max radiosity with appropriate lights at light fixtures. I cant figure out

some problems arising in radiosity solutions, most people are using

this i guess but not suits me well.

2. Mental ray's final gathering, works well for me.

In some cases i am using cinema 4D too.

so in cinema 4D the workflow is:

for both interiors and exteriors, Radiosity with GI, with big luminous sphere as skylight

and a spot light as sunlight.

so here goes my thoughts, i wish to get yours opinions about the methods you

adopt most.

if you be kind enought please post the rendering excessive methods as well as faking

radiosity methods to get nearly good results with short rendering time.

thank you.
