View Full Version : problems please help!
onizuka 08-17-2002, 10:22 AM i was learning MAYA through the tutorial but when i come to the rendering part i encounter a problem!! when i open up render global, i select the camera view for rendering but i do not know why when i click batch render, it renders the perspective view as well... and during the selection, i notice that the rendering option beside the camera view and the perspective view has the word(renderable).. do not know whether is this the main cost of the problem because the tutorial doesnt have that by the side!
anyone out there if you are kind enough please give me your advice, your help will be greatly appreciated!
regards,
oni

you found the problem by yourself. it's this flag "renderable". if you render via batch file it's better, there you can set via flag (-cam) the camera you wanna render.

what i meant is when i click batch render, it started to render the perspective views and then the camera view which take up alot of time and the fact is i already select the camera view to be render but i do not know why they still render the perspective view first?!! hope you know what i mean!
thanks!

maybe the writing for the folder is protected by the system ??? right click on the folder and uncheck write protection and say do this for all files in the folder in the following dialog.
