Title: Egyptian Tomb.
Name: Tim Ellis
Country: United Kingdom
Software: Blender, Photoshop

Egyptian project. Showcase render for some of the textures available on Total textures v9; Ancient tribes and civilisations, from 3dtotal.com.

My idea was to recreate a scene of an Egyptian tomb just after the tomb robbers have left, with only damaged objects left behind. Lighting is intended to recreate that of a flaming torch.

I'm confused as to the actual light source. There appears to be a blueish light from above in the background, but then somehting much brighter in the foreground, both from above.

The textures need a bit more punch to them, they seem kind of flat or low res. I don't know much about Blender, so I'm not sure how to do that, but also work on yoru sand texture. Sahara sand doesn't look like that.

Good shot tho. Just some nit picky stuff.
