Heh heh heh - Sheep, you're gonna love The Incredibles - and the Teaser for Cars too. I have a new appreciation for tow trucks and NASCAR...

And I'm hoping that tomorrow's announcement by Lux is the either the Animation or Render component of the Nexus Suite - either would be cool.

Maybe everyone was just blown away by that announcement so badly that they couldn't have gotten a word out of themselves until now?

The announcement had nothing to do with updates....

Since this was held by Student Chapter of ACM Siggraph San Francisco, I expected it to be regarding academic pricing and thats exactly what it was.

Brad announced there that Modo's academic price will be that of $149 and hehe he also said for students who can show their transcript with higher marks will get Modo for a price of $99

Sweet news on the pricing. Did he say where that price will be available through?

from the way Brad said it i am thinking immediately but don't quote me on that as i still haven't seen a holler from them on this board or elsewhere regarding this... hopefully by monday they will officially announce this everywhere :)

Now there is an innovative pricing strategy, and one to be applauded. If more companies did this, then students would have substantive financial motivations for getting better grades. Nothing wrong with that.
