Alright, I'm having to make water shooting up for a fountian/pond I've made for a client. The water sprays I need to do should look like these examples:

The shots will be stills. The two options I have off the top of my head are to either to just model the spray and then modify it for the additional seven sprays. Or use hyper-voxels or particels. Now I'm leaning towards hyper-voxels or particels, but the reason I'm leaning toward those, is both a positive and a negative. I've never used hyper-voxels or partice effects. So in one hand, I'd love to learn, but on the other hand, I don't know if this is the time to try and learn something like this.

What's your thoughts?

HV's aren't really that hard to learn at first. You can get some good results in a short enough time.

I say give it a try.
