It's good, but it's evident it's CG.
If you aim for photoreal look, here is my advice.
The antialiasing of the refraction/reflections is poor. Look at the glass, the reflections on the wood and on the spoon.
The color is too uniform; the textures are so clean. Even if you just buyed that bowl, should have some little scratches or dirt.
The reflections ar way too strong.
The colors are a little saturated.
You could also improve the scene with another camera angle or using some kind of enviroment.
Ah, and post process the image. Add some "photographic look".
Duplicate the layer, blur it and apply it with a "soft light" at 50%
You could also try to add a lishten layer with only the brigther parts blurred. And of course, some noise.
Good Luck!

nothing special to add....just one thing...the fresnel of glass is somewhere between 1,3-1,6 normally 1,33 is used for some good output

schmu_20mol:The Fresnel is one thing, the refraction is another.

if yer going for photo real... dont try and make it perfect :)
1,33 is water's IOR. Typical glass is ~1,5
other than that, it's not realism so far. With that zoom maybe a bit DOF could be good. But what bugs is that your environnement is empty around the scene so the reflections/refractions look unnatural and there's too much black in the glass. The light looks white too; usually light is not white. And that's way too clean.
But it need just some little improvements to look quite good.:)

I Liked it very much, although I agree with the opinion that says It's CG..... You need caustics... dirty... and DOF...
but It's very good ! congratulations

DOF would help, too. Now every single fiber on the table is in focus.
