I was (as a newby) tjekking out maya fur http://www.bronzilla.f2s.com/fur.jpg ( http://www.bronzilla.f2s.com/fur.jpg ), when i was starting to wonder where the place is to set your render background color and/or background picture?
In Max its quite simpel, its just a TO-KNOW question, i cant find it anywhere..

You must make a new camera...go to its attributes (control+a) and then environment settings is where you can put a color or an image as the bground

you can do it with the default cameras aswell can't you?
