This is spinoff that might be of use for someone.
It is a simple Viewport clock using no key animation.
Could be used for showing shadowing issues in architactual work by setting the clock to start/end at the same times as keys animated in the Sun Expression
Click the "SunClock" null and in AM > UserData tab and adjust:
-StartFrame. Usually 0, the beginning of the scene or the first key of the SunExpression time. (Advancing it will make the digital clock be a countdown)
-EndFrame. Usually the end of the scene/SunExpression.
-StartHour. (0 to 23) What time it is at StartFrame.
-StopHour.(1 to 48) What time it is at EndFrame.
Plus some render options.
Dload SunAClock (http://w1.185.telia.com/~u18502924/CinemaScenes/SunAClock.c4d.zip)
Cheers
