theBeginning 10-12-2004, 03:35 AM is there any freeware renderer out there? im using wings 3D to model, and the renders just look horrible. thanks...

i think there is something out there.......but i couldnt find it, have you tried your favorite search engines, if you could export your object and try the links on the wings3d link page http://www.wings3d.com/links.php

I think the later builds of Wings have built-in support for yafray, so I'd recommend trying that one first.

I think BusyRay Renderer is worth a try. Sometimes there are strange results, but mostly the solution is quite nice, but hey - it is so young and free. This is kind of "launch and forget" soft. There is version 1.1.1 out there. It really looks promising IMHO.
