There's something wrong with his front legs-arms.
Arms usually are attached to broader shoulders, and animalistic legs don't look like human arms. That's what's looking weird about it.
Hence, I'd consider giving him animalistic legs, or broaden the shoulders to more human-ape propotions.
Other than that it's a really nice concept!
