View Full Version : More Interior Lighting Questions

I am trying to create interior lighting. I am very new to lighting, and I have seen some other posts about interior lighting on this forum, but they haven't helped me. I have been to cgarchitect.com, but there isnt anything, that I have found, in those tutorials that actually tell you how to set up the lights. It appears that they expect you to know how to create everything already, and they are just giving you ideas on how to improve. Here is one of my problems.

cgarchitect talks about creating an omni light as the main ambient light in the scene and enable "ambient only". After this step they get an image looking like this:

I dont know whats going on, but I cant seem to get the light setting right. Either that, or I am using the wrong kind of lights. If anyone can go into some more detail about the basic lighting on cgarchitect it would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Don't forget to adjust your attenuation range. So the light won't lit the whole room evenly :)

hi , first for your posted image check if you are using exposure control , somehow i think you are using Logarithmic exposure control .
