View Full Version : I need a little help with the CSPolytools script...

I downloaded it and there's just one file. What do I do with it? With the meshtools it was easy because the download incuded instructions but i don't know what to do with this one. Help please?

From what I remember you should open max and go to MAXScript > Run script, navigate to that file and run it. Then restart max.

Ok thanks I guess it worked. Now an even stupidier question comes. Where do I find the tools?

Like Meshtools (you have to have Meshtools installed by the way for CSPoly to work). Go to customize / customize UI and add then to a new toolbar or a quad. It's under group: Main UI, Category: SCPoly.

The following message appears when I run the script"

"Should all worky now. Restart if you will"

I restart but the tools are nowhere to be found. What could the problem be?

Do you mean they are not under Group: Main UI, Category: SCPoly in Customize User Interface window? Do you have Meshtools installed?

Oh wait i got it. Sorry my fault. I admit I'm more stupid than normal. I was looking for them in the action list instead of the category one. Thanks for your help.
