The game seems good too - its a bit of a shame that its a FPS (nothing original) but im willing to be surprised by oddworld inhabitants.

I have loved this since I 1st saw it at Siggraph, I love the "Stranger" character... inspired by Iron Maidens "Stranger in a Strange land" Album cover. :thumbsup::buttrock::bowdown:

But whoever did the lighting/texturing needs to learn there's more colours in the world than slight variants of green and brown.

Hehe... I love Oddworld :) Equinoxx, the game is looking really good and the gameplay should be good to from what they showed at 3D Festival (Lorne Lanning had a speech there about the synnergy between games and movies. Very interesting) This game is almost enough for me to buy an Xbox, can't wait for it to come out :D

Btw, AndyH, it isn't really an FPS is it? More of a 3rd person action/plattformer with fps elements... At least that's the impression I got.

Yes it's 3rd person action adv with platform elements.But you can go into 1st person when you use the "Live ammo" for shooting your weapon.Game looks great,plays with that Oddworld originality as well.It looks to be coming out in early Febuary 05',now that the XBOX release does not have to wait on the PS2 release.this and Conker along with Starcraft ghost makes for a nice early 05' for gaming.:thumbsup: :)
